If you are browsing a lot then you need to enable dark mode on Google Chrome. You can Enable it on your Windows and also your Android. This feature is available on Chrome 74 or higher.
On Android, you can’t enable this feature directly. This feature is rolling out slowly. You need Chrome version 74 or higher to enable it.
Here’s how to enable this feature for Google Chrome on Android.
Dark Mode for Chrome on Android:
Two ways you can enable dark mode on Chrome. You can enable it using your Android 10 Night Mode or enable using Chrome flags.
To enable the feature using your Android Night Mode
- Open Setting
- Go to Display
- Enable the dark theme
This couldn’t help you to enable this feature for Chrome. To enable this feature you need to enable force dark mode in the setting.
To enable it.
- Open Setting
- Go to Developer Options (By default you couldn’t find developer option. you need to Unload developer settings. to unlock it, In about phone section rapidly tap on the Build Number until a message appears “you are now a developer“)
- Go to Night Mode
- select Always On
To enable the feature using Chrome Flags
(remember this feature work only Chrome version 74.0.3729.112 or higher)
- Open Chrome
- Go to Chrome flags chrome://flags/
- Search Night mode
- Enable Android Chrome UI dark mode (#enable-android-night-mode)
- Relaunch Chrome
- Open Chrome Setting
- Go to Theme
- Select Dark theme
